Laugharne, Carmarthenshire
The impressive ruin of Laugharne Castle stands above the salt marsh on the edge of this small Carmarthenshire town. The footbridge over the River Coran carries the path which leads to The Boathouse, a riverside cottage where the great writer Dylan Thomas lived with his family for his last few years.
