Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taff
The last coal of one of Wales' most accessible seams, Tower Colliery near Hirwaun, will be extracted by opencast mining and then moved down to the washing plant by these conveyors before being transported by road to Aberthaw Power Station near Cardiff and the steelworks at Port Talbot.
