Llangynidr, Powys
The parking area just before the abandoned Blaen Onneu quarry on the Mynydd Llangynidr offers spectacular views to the north and east. In this shot, on a showery autumn day, a patch of sun illuminates the village of Bwlch and Llangorse Lake beyond. On the horizon, a good 20 or more miles distant, are the moorland plateaux of Painscastle Hill and Glascwm Hill.
