Newborough, Isle of Anglesey

The the seaward end of Llandwyn Island stands the old lighthouse. Last used during the filming of a thriller called 'Half Light' in 2004, it appears to be habitable but is not inhabited, but then, this would be a rather impractical place to live! It served as lighthouse for the island until 1975, when it was replaced in this role by a light fitted to the older stone beacon which stands on the adjacent headland.
