Boardwalk in the Mellte Valley near Ystradfellte

Reaching the waterfalls on the River Mellte south of Ystradfellte is not entirely easy. To reach Sgwd Isaf Clun-gwyn and Sgwd-y-Pannwr falls a steep descent is necessary to reach the valley floor, after which the path is treacherous in parts. Getting a good view of the higher of these two falls is decidedly hazardous.
