Caban Coch in Early Spring

Early Spring, and the buds are beginning to show on this sycamore tree overhanging the River Elan as it flows free again west of Caban Coch dam. The building to the right of the dam (and another like it opposite which is out of view) houses turbines which generate electricity from the reservoir's outflow.
