The Great Keep of Cardiff Castle

The Great Keep of Cardiff Castle is the centrepiece of this collection of structures in the centre of the Welsh capital. Originally the site of a Roman fort dating from the first century, the castle had a succession of owners and purposes, and went through a variety of development which continued well into the reign of Queen Victoria.
