Trecastle, Powys
The Usk Reservoir is surrounded by moorland and pine woodland at an altitude of 1050ft, near Trecastle in the western reaches of the Brecon Beacons. Renowned as a trout fishery, is very popular with anglers. Permits can be bought from machines by the bank. Fly fishing, spinning and worming are permitted.
