Slate mine train at Blaenau Ffestiniog

In the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog, this Hunslet diesel locomotive and wagons stand as a memorial to slate mining, the industry which once lay at the heart of the town's economy. The train is on loan from the Gloddfa Canol Sale Mine.
