Monmouth, Gwent
One of several exhibits which stand outside the Regimental Museum at Monmouth is this Russian Fortress Gun, which was given to the town after the Crimean War in gratitude for the service of its men. Using a powder charge of 10lb it fired a 32 pond ball for 2500 yards.
